The LuRong Summertime Challenge workouts will be posted as the regular workout of the day every Tuesday until the end of the challenge. Each Monday evening, we'll set up a table with updated scorecards, measuring tape, and detailed instructions for the following day. Summer Bodies Are Made in the Winter

You hear me say it when you’re holding planks in an attempt to encourage you…

That’s right, “Summer bodies are made in the winter“.  Why not be comfortable in your skin for the majority of the year?  Why wait until you have to get into a bathing suit to shed some pounds?  Why go on a last minute crash diet that doesn’t lend itself to keeping the weight off longer than your trip to The Caribbean lasts?

Shoreline CrossFit kicking off a REALISTIC diet challenge to help you get back on the wagon from the Christmas, New Years, snow day, birthday, I’m depressed, and soon-to-be Valentine’s Day, weight gain.  This diet is not quite as strict as some of our past challenges, but by adhering to it you will certainly remain on track and get results.

Remember, you can only out-train a poor diet for a very limited time.  In the words of the nutrition guru Robb Wolf (as lewd as they may be), “A poor diet will totally cock-block your workouts”.
