On Sunday, December 11th from 10:45-11:45, Kai will be co-hosting a charity fundraiser for The Strong Family. The class will be part "REZIST TRAINING" (high intensity body weight movements with light Dumbbells and Kettlebells) and a YOGA COOL DOWN. The suggested donation is $25 cash and OPEN TO ANYONE! This is a great way to test your GPP- general physical preparedness and mobility!

SkyWhen I woke up this morning, it was hard to imagine that the day would end with the sun out.

But it did.

As I approached the gym at 4:30 pm, I beheld the sight that you see here.

I mean, seriously, some days are so gloomy that it’s hard to envision what the sun even looks like.  In fact, today, I even considered canceling my plans for the beach tomorrow because I couldn’t fathom the weather changing.

Isn’t that life?  When things are bad, they’re really bad. It’s hard to imagine the bad ever ending… like when you’re injured–your back, your neck, your elbow, your wrist, your ankle, your knee, your shoulder, the hole in your heart…It’s hard to envision it ever getting better.

But as sure as the sun always comes back out, it will.

Hang in there.

    Sounds like more men needed to make enugoh 1 to 3 ratio teams. Possibly the ratio rule can be adjusted so everyone can play? Good idea on the food. I’ll bring fruit and beer — both paleo in my book
