When I woke up this morning, it was hard to imagine that the day would end with the sun out.
But it did.
As I approached the gym at 4:30 pm, I beheld the sight that you see here.
I mean, seriously, some days are so gloomy that it’s hard to envision what the sun even looks like. In fact, today, I even considered canceling my plans for the beach tomorrow because I couldn’t fathom the weather changing.
Isn’t that life? When things are bad, they’re really bad. It’s hard to imagine the bad ever ending… like when you’re injured–your back, your neck, your elbow, your wrist, your ankle, your knee, your shoulder, the hole in your heart…It’s hard to envision it ever getting better.
But as sure as the sun always comes back out, it will.
Hang in there.
In my opinion, the best part of SCF is our community. Don’t forget about our 5-year anniversary WOD and party at 10:30 am THIS Saturday!
Back squats post-AMRAP, no problem!
Zoe has been working very hard and it is certainly showing!
I believe the cue was, “Smile and say ‘I love 30 minute AMRAPs!'”
Coach Shlee’s muscle-ups were in hiding, but don’t worry, they’re back!
Tim’s looking ripped!
Fabs may have a new job, a longer commute, and an injury, but he’s made a commitment to fitness and he’s sticking to it!
Congratulations to Celeni who was married this weekend! She got in awesome shape for her wedding!
