On Sunday, December 11th from 10:45-11:45, Kai will be co-hosting a charity fundraiser for The Strong Family. The class will be part "REZIST TRAINING" (high intensity body weight movements with light Dumbbells and Kettlebells) and a YOGA COOL DOWN. The suggested donation is $25 cash and OPEN TO ANYONE! This is a great way to test your GPP- general physical preparedness and mobility!

Since I can remember, I’ve always loved sports. Whether it was baseball, basketball, or football, it was hard to get me into the house on any given night. Growing up, I had the privilege of being coached by a father who played minor league baseball as a short stop. So needless to say, throughout my life he instilled the fundamentals of team and individual sports and the importance of proper strength and conditioning. CrossFit has a way of bringing out the best of both worlds (sports + strength & conditioning).

Previous to joining the CrossFit Program in 2008, you would find me on a track, in the weight room, or researching new fitness and nutrition trends. But like anything else in life, without the right environment or motivation things can get stale. Five years after college, I found CrossFit and I’ve never looked back.

Over the last few years, I’ve come to understand the meaning of true fitness…train hard, eat well, and live a long happy life. The program has not only change my views on training, but it has also brought me a sense of community through a team like environment. Each and every day, I walk into Shoreline CrossFit and I’m reinvigorated by both my clients and my fellow trainers. To be honest, there’s nothing like it in the world.

Currently, both my beautiful wife Lauren and I live on the Shoreline and train full time at Shoreline CrossFit as athletes and coaches. Kelly Walsh (our co-owner) and our coaches will not only keep you motivated, but help you achieve all of your fitness goals. So if you’re on the fence about our program or skeptical, I highly recommend you reach to one of us and see what everyone on the Shoreline is talking about.
